Dear Paularino Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an honor to begin my second year as principal of Paularino Elementary, home of the Panthers. I am grateful to be part of such a caring and dedicated school community and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and celebration together.

As I begin my 18th year in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, I continue to feel incredibly fortunate to serve a community that is deeply committed to helping every child succeed. My experiences in elementary education, special education, and school leadership have strengthened my belief that every student thrives when they feel connected—to their teachers, classmates, school, and families.

One of my greatest priorities is building meaningful connections with our students and families. I firmly believe that education is most successful when schools and families work together as partners. Your involvement, encouragement, and collaboration make an incredible difference in your child's educational journey. Whether you're volunteering on campus, attending school events, participating in PTA, communicating with your child's teacher, or simply talking with your child about their day, your partnership helps strengthen our entire school community.

As we begin this new school year, I encourage each of us to embrace opportunities to connect, support one another, and continue building a school where every student feels they belong. Together, we will continue to create an environment where our Panthers are empowered to learn, lead, and grow with confidence.
