Principal's Message

Dr. Amy Nagy

Welcome Paularino Panthers to the 2018-19 school year. It is sure to be a year filled with exciting opportunities!  As your principal, I could not be happier to serve this great community!  I feel fortunate to work with our talented staff, amazing students, and supportive parents.  I am looking forward to another great year!

I have been an educator for 25+ years.  I started my career in Michigan as an elementary counselor, then a teacher, curriculum coordinator, and principal.  After our family relocated to Southern California in 2004, I began my NMUSD career as the principal of Newport Elementary and moved to Paularino in 2013.  In addition to being the principal of this fantastic school, I am a wife and mother. My husband, Zoltan, and I have two amazing sons.  Our oldest is Michael (24) and our youngest is Nick (22).  Michael works full time and is in college studying psychology. Nicholas graduated from ASU from the college of Health Sciences and is a personal trainer.

I value your partnership and understand that effective communication between home and school is critical to our students’ success.  At any time, if you have questions or concerns, please call the office at 714-424-7950.  If we are unable to answer your questions over the phone, Teresa Wickett, my administrative assistant, can arrange a time for us to meet.

Again, I look forward to another GREAT year!

Sincerely,

Dr. Amy Nagy, Principal
